Time Based Upload/Download Rules |
Power Feature - PostMaster Express As a user:
- Do you face a hard time while uploading or downloading large files?
- Does your network administrator need to intervene for large messages?
- Are you compelled to postpone uploads and downloads sometimes until the network traffic has reduced?
This can be irritating, especially when you are running short of time. If you do have to put up with these issues, just relax! Did you know that PostMaster Express allows administrators to handle large messages very efficiently by setting Time Based Upload/Download Rules?
The administrator can -
- Reschedule downloads: Directly reschedule the upload and download of files that are beyond a certain size, keeping it out of a time range with heavy Internet traffic.
- Define download rules:
Set size-based restrictions for transfer of files Set the time range for transfer of large files
- Save files for auto upload-download later: For files that fall out of the criteria – files to be uploaded will be saved in a spool and ones to be downloaded in the server, and respective action will automatically be taken later. Your overheads will reduce as you save on time and costly bandwidth.
- Reduce manual intervention: As these tasks will be performed automatically as per pre-set rules, the administrator no longer needs to intervene all the time.
So get all these niggling problems fixed, and go ahead and schedule when the jumbo files will travel without bothering others.
