Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • The duties which this jopb entails close interaction and ensuring customers satisfaction of QuantumLink customes. QLC Tech Suport team will support warranty programs covering software products and services for more than 5,000 cients.
  • You will be responsible for day to day operations of the Tech Support team which covers queries and providing training relating to QLC range of products & services.
  • Candidates in senior position will also lead and train lower level tech support team.

Skill Sets - Primary

  • Sound knowledge of Internet and Networking technologies
  • Should have experience in installing / configuring different Operating Systems like Windows, Linux in networking environment
  • Should have experience in installing / configuring different Mailing / Groupware Systems like Exchange, Lotus Notes

Skill Sets - Secondary

  • Knowledge / Familiarity of Internet protocols like HTTP, LDAP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP and FTP will be added advantage
  • Having worked as a system administrator for Mailing / Groupware Systems like Exchange, Lotus Notes will also be an added advantage
  • Having worked in the capacity of technical support for a call center will also be an added advantage

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Must have ability to help users via phone/ E-Mail
  • Flexible schedule to meet demands of an operational business

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be Graduate in any field, preferably with technical background (Graduate / Graduate Equivalent Diploma in software / hardware)
  • Candidate having a technical background (Graduate / Graduate Equivalent Diploma in software / hardware) will have added advantage

Experience

  • At least two years experience in similar position
  • Having worked in Tech Support team which covers trouble shooting, problem solving and answering to customer queries on phone or E-Mail would be an added advantage
